EFT is an effective, drug-free way to treat trauma and PTSD
In honor of Veterans Day it seemed very appropriate to address the issue of PTSD here by giving a link to this important ARTICLE. It is important to note though that PTSD can affect anyone – especially those who have survived natural disasters like hurricanes, floods and wildfires. And children are not immune…
Our good friend Dr. Dawson Church (whom you might remember from an earlier post, lost his home and business to the Northern CA wildfires last month) conducted the first study. It was followed up by a second study that confirmed the findings of the first (both can be found in PubMed). They concluded that “EFT is an evidence-based practice that is highly effective at reducing symptom severity in veterans with PTSD.”
PTSD can affect anyone…not just veterans
Although we tend to think of PTSD as something that only veterans suffer from, it can actually affect anyone, including children. In our studies on dental anxiety, we have found that dental anxiety and phobias very often originate with one or more traumatic childhood events often – but not always – associated with dental treatment(s). So if you have a child who is anxious, no matter to what degree, you may want to consider learning more about some quick, simple EFT-Tapping techniques that you can share with them.
We both use EFT-Tapping every day
THIS ARTICLE is from the Tapping Solution website. Scott and I both use Tapping (EFT) daily and have for many years. We believe very strongly in its effectiveness and we can personally attest to its ability to help us deal with almost any issue you can name from pain, to anxiety, to stress, to dealing with people who drive you absolutely nuts. That’s why we included 2 of the top EFT practitioners in the world in our recent Summit (Dr. Dawson Church and Brad Yates).
A portion of the profits from our recent Functional Oral and Airway Health Summit were donated to the Tapping Solution Foundation and its program to teach EFT-Tapping to school children, helping with self-confidence, studying, dealing with bullying and giving them the tools to deal with the anxiety and stress of tests, relationships and day-to-day living.
